Spiritual Life Program
The Spiritual Life Program is dedicated to providing support and guidance for all residents and their families. Through counseling, study, worship and music programs, chaplains at each of our communities provide support for the life-long faith journeys and major life transitions of all residents and their families.
Presbyterian Homes’ Chaplain Intern Program, the first program of its kind nationally, offers student chaplains from Chicago-area seminaries the opportunity to experience unique ways of working with older adults. Established by the Woman’s Board of Presbyterian Homes in honor of Louise Morris, the program has been in place more than 20 years.
The Spiritual Life Program is the hallmark of Presbyterian Homes’ mission, caring for the whole human being regardless of faith, age, health, or ability to pay.
