Chicago Area Nursing and Alzheimer's Care

Never retire your spirit

Presbyterian Homes' health care centers have a reputation for extraordinary senior care. It comes from paying close attention to our patients and to the concerns and question of their families. Our Medicare-approved health care centers, part of our continuing care communities, are open both to residents of Presbyterian Homes and to residents of surrounding Chicago communities.

Several of our retirement communities in the Chicago area offer nursing and memory care:

Our health centers offer both long-term and short-term care. Short-term care is for those who require rehabilitation following hospitalization. Long-term care provides round-the-clock assistance, medical attention or security. Each health center also provides a specialized environment for those who need memory care or support for dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other forms of memory loss.

We offer exceptional professional care, whether it is provided by physicians, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, social workers, chaplains or activities therapists.

More importantly, Presbyterian Homes has embraced a philosophy of interacting with residents called person-centered care. We agree to honor the choices, preferences and abilities of all residents, whether they live in a cottage, apartment, or a health center residence.

Nursing Care Residences

Our Health Care Centers offer sun-filled rooms that overlook the gardens, trees and winding pathways throughout the campuses. Meals are served in dining areas to encourage friendship and social interaction. All activities and programs promote independence and opportunities for learning and growth. Each campus has a beauty/barber shop, convenience store, and chapel.
