The Health Care Center at The Moorings of Arlington Heights is home to seniors in the northwest suburbs of Chicago who need assisted living, or short- or long-term care. For some, it's a short stay while they rehabilitate following a hospitalization. Assisted Living

Assisted living is a licensed, sheltered-care option for those who need a little help with daily activities. Personal care and housekeeping are available to make life a little easier and a little safer. Our services help residents enjoy more independence in studio and one-bedroom apartments.

Memory Care

We are devoted to enhancing the quality of life for residents who are living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of memory loss. Our safe, secure, and loving environment offers music, games, movies, and activities to keep memory care residents engaged and motivated.

Supportive Services

A social worker meets each resident at The Health Care Center of The Moorings of Arlington Heights to provide emotional and social support during the transition and throughout his or her stay. Social services are available to families as well as residents.

Activities Specialists

Activities specialists engage residents in a range of activities and programs, including

• music programs with live music and interactive movement
• pet visits from a range of quiet and loveable creatures
• arts and crafts activities, from painting and needlework projects to work with clay
• games to provide intellectual stimulation, encourage socialization and conversation, and evaluate memory

Additional Services

Additional health services are available to The Moorings residents and residents of surrounding communities.

• a respite program invites families to let us care for a family member for as few as four days to as long as a month
• Home Health Services provide support to continue rehabilitation and recovery in the home
• Lifeline is a personal emergency response system.
