Peter Jaggard, M.D.

Vice President of Medical Affairs

Dr. Peter Jaggard is vice president of medical affairs and is responsible for coordination of medical services for 1700+ residents at the multi-site continuing care retirement communities of Presbyterian Homes in northern Illinois. He joined Presbyterian Homes in 1983 as a staff physician at The King Home. He was there until 2003, when he was appointed Medical Director at Lake Forest Place, as well as staff physician at Westminster Place.

Dr. Jaggard received his bachelor's degree from the Wheaton College, and earned his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School. He performed his residency at Evanston Hospital and was Cheif Attending Physician there from 1982-1983. 

Dr. Jaggard recently earned an MA in Christian Thought, with an emphasis on Bioethics, from Trinity International University. He has been active in volunteer work in Haiti, Belize and Jamaica. He is a sought-after speaker on end-of-life care, bioethics and geriatrics.
